The Department of Creative Systems Engineering consists of four courses.
- Mechanical Systems Engineering Course
- Electronics and Communication Systems Engineering Course
- Information Technology Course
- Bioresource Engineering Course
And has a distinctive curriculum that includes experimental courses and long-term internships that combine and integrate the expertise learned from the four courses.
The program is accredited as a “Special Exception Course,” for which students can obtain a bachelor's degree.

The Okinawa National College of Technology's major course of study is an educational program that provides an extra two years of specialized technical education in addition to the five years of basic specialized education in the main course of study. Contents of the program include high level of specialized technical education equivalent to a master's degree program at a graduate college.
The program is open to graduates of technical colleges as well as to working professionals, and aims to nurture engineers with creative and practical technical skills and the ability to take charge of research and development.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a bachelor's degree in engineering by the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Reform.
Graduates may go on to graduate college at a national or public university, or work in the research, development, or technology department of a company.
The Okinawa National College of Technology offers four courses: Mechanical Systems Engineering Course, Electronics and Communication Systems Engineering Course, Information Technology Course, and Bioresource Engineering Course, each with its own unique educational curriculum. Students can also take elective classes from other courses, taking advanation of the opportunity to study a wide range of fields according to their personal interests.
